Computational Method for the specification of LED Modules

1. Calculating by pitch: the distance between two neighbouring pixels, which could be one LED chip [eg: PH10(1R)], two LED chips [eg:PH16(2R)], or three LED chips [eg:PH16(2R1G)];
2. Calculating by the length and height the pixel pitch X dots=the length/the height
Eg. PH16 The length=16dotsX1.6cm
The height=8dotsX1.6cm
PH10 the length=32dotsX1.0cm
the height=16dotsX1.0cm
3.The quantity of modules: (the total area)÷(the length of single module) ÷(the height of single module)=the quantity of modules
the quantity of modules used for outdoor LED single-color display screen PH16mm with the area of 10sqm is: 10sqm÷0.256m÷0.128m=305.17678≈305pcs
More accurate calculating method: the quantity of modules used for the length X the quantity of modules used for the height = the total quantity
The total quantity of modules used for the single-color LED Display Screen PH16MM with the length of 5m and the height of 2m
The quantity of modules used for the length = 5m ÷ 0.256m =19.53125≈20pcs
The quantity of modules used for the height =2m÷0.128m =15.625≈16pcs
The total quantity of modules = 20pcs×16pcs = 320pcs
