Brightness

The brightness is one of the essential features of led screens. The main factors that influence brightness are the chip of led light and the number of scans. Normally, under indoor conditions, the brightness should ≥600nits. In partial-sun outdoor conditions, the brightness is usually ≥2000nits. Under full-sun conditions, generally, the brightness of 5,000nits is enough. But if you want the led screen sunlight readable, the brightness should reach 8000nits to offer a better visual enjoyment. Pixel Pitch

Pixel pitch is another factor that customers often care about. Because this feature often influences the price of led screen. The smaller the pixel pitch is, the more expensive the screen is. Choosing which pixel pitch often depends on the applications. For some places that are just watching in a long viewing distance, such as a playground, you can choose the bigger pixel pitch led screen products for an economical price. If you are looking for better display quality, a small pixel pitch screen is better. The pixel pitch of Eastar can reach 0.9mm. Resolution

Different from the LCD screen, the resolution of the led screen just means the number of led lights reach a standard level without caring about the size of the screen. For example, if the number of lights reach 3840 in the horizontal and reach 2160 in the vertical, it means the resolution is 4K. Nowadays, 1080p and 4K are still the main trends in the led screen industry. Although we often hear that some companies can produce 8K led screen, but making the video sources of 8K is still so difficult. So, it is unnecessary to display a video source lower than 8K on an 8K screen.

IP Rating

The customers who need outdoor led products often care about the IP rating. According to the using environment, the led screen company often design different IP rating. For indoor conditions, the led screen rarely approach the water and ash, so IP20 is enough. But for outdoor environments, there are also divided into two conditions. Front waterproof and back waterproof. Usually, we often focus on front waterproof and IP65 is enough. The back-waterproof rating just needs to reach IP54.

Viewing Angle

The last feature that we often care about is viewing angle. Two technologies can be used in led screen – DIP and SMD. Nowadays, most companies trends to use SMD technology which can make the viewing angle wider. When using SMD technology, the viewing angle can reach 120°(H)/ 120°(V).
