Both are Esdlumen rental platforms, built to be assembled, struck and shipped again and again. The difference is the environment: an LED panel rental job in the open air has to answer to sun, rain, wind and heat as well as to the crew.

Two points are easy to miss. Going outdoors did not make the panel heavier: an E-Sapphire 500×1000mm panel is 12kg against 13kg for the same size in Pilot Pro, because carbon fibre and magnesium alloy replace die-cast aluminium. And the pitch range is narrower: E-Sapphire is 3.9mm only, so close-viewed indoor stages still belong to Pilot Pro, the indoor rental LED display.
Other routes into outdoor rental in the Esdlumen range: the E-Swan curved LED video wall for curved outdoor builds, the Shine Pro outdoor LED screen as a high-stability outdoor rental series, and Dazzle Ⅳ where one series has to cover both indoor and outdoor rental.
